Throughout the generations there has risen from within the Jewish people a desire to understand the innermost aspects of the Torah, to know the deep meaning of the Mitzvot and Jewish spiritual traditions, and to search for the ultimate truth. This information has traditionally been limited to only a few special individuals, learned in secret from teacher to student in a direct line. In our generation, each person has an obligation to learn, in addition to other Torah studies, this part of the Torah which until now has been hidden away. We must give it adequate and deep thought, on a just and clear path.

Or Da’at Publishing is a center for research, writing, and distribution of the writings of the “Ba’alay HaSulam” (The Masters of the Ladder), and the masters of Kabbalah and Chassidism throughout the generations. The publishing house is doing the work of editing and publishing the writings of Rabbi Mordechai Sheinberger, Shlita, and of our teacher, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag (may his merit protect us), and those who are continuing his sacred path. We function as part of a non-profit foundation, and all the income of our sales goes towards the continuation of the writing and editing of these holy teachings. Our goal is to reach every person, and to expose him the power of the Kabbalah, and to have the merit to offer to all the Jewish people a part and an understanding of the depths of these holy writings. Then this ancient wisdom which has been hidden for hundreds of years within the Kabbalah and Chassidut will be transmitted onwards. In our times we must spread this knowledge to the public in the proper way, with depth and clarification of its hiddenness.
